My family and I had the privilege of working with Derrick and his team in purchasing a house. Derrick was amazing! This is the 2nd time we have purchased a house and we definitely didn’t have someone as well-versed in the business the first time around. We started out looking for an existing house. The first thing I could tell was that Derrick was on our side and working in our best interest. It wasn’t about the sale. He pointed out potential future issues in the houses we looked at and let us know some of the potential future costs that it could run us. Especially if you’re purchasing a fixer upper that’s great information to have! We specifically wanted a move-in ready/turnkey. We eventually opted for a custom build with a local builder and it went incredibly smooth! Derrick negotiated on our behalf and went to bat when I had questions or concerns. I always felt comfortable knowing that we were in great hands with Derrick and his team. April was also amazing! Anytime I had questions about the process or the paperwork I knew I could call (and I did) and she, too, had the expertise to answer them. I also found the electronic paperwork that was emailed to me very convenient with my work schedule. Derrick and his team are kind, patient, and will be truthful about the house you’re looking at. Very professional and definitely make it known that they’re on your team.

Huge thank you to Derrick and his team! He was extremely knowledgeable about the local housing market. He listened to our requests for what we wanted in a property and was able to help us to later buy our brand new home. Derrick was always responsive to showing us houses we wanted to see whether it was during the day, night, or on the weekends. He walked us through the process of home buying from offer to closing and always made sure we understood the next steps.
